With sources updated on the 4th of February, the scanner now
appears functional (I was able test the printer and scan) but
`scanimage -L` returns:

device `epson:/dev/uscanner0' is a Epson Unknown model flatbed
scanner

and `sane-find-scanner -v -v` returns:

checking /dev/uscanner0... open ok, but vendor and product could
NOT be identified found USB scanner (UNKNOWN vendor and product)
at device /dev/uscanner0
