[sane-devel] Problem with Epslon 1650 + Kernel 2.4.3: no lamp off

Does the lamp actually come on without you first scanning? Just probing
the scanner
should not keep the lamp on. The scanner should be "smart" enough to
not keep
the lamp on when it's not actually receiving the "start scan" command
during it's
lamp timeout period.
