[sane-devel] UMAX 2200 working with CVS - libusb, but xsane fails

Is it possible that you have two different sane-backends versions installed?

You can verify it by enabling debug output:

export SANE_DEBUG_DLL=128
export SANE_DEBUG_UMAX=2

and then start xsane and xscanimage or scanimage
