That's because "lineart" is not a mode the plustek backend knows
about. Run "scanimage --help". It will print all options. I guess
"Binary" is the right one.

Maybe the Plustek backend can be changed to use the
SANE_VALUE_SCAN_MODE_* macros from saneopts.h?
