[sane-devel] microtek2 / Scan Maker 330 (SCSI)

Dear listmembers,
my brother in law uses this scanner which is cleanly recognized by sane. Using 
xsane, I can make scans as expected.

However, when I try to do a :

/usr/bin/scanimage --format=tiff --mode Gray --resolution 150 > outfile.tiff

and then look into the file, the image is there - but it has the size of a 
stamp rather than of a A4-page what I would have expected.

The sane release is 1.14. The same commands used on SuSE 9.3 (1.15) with my 
MUSTEK SP12000 work without problems. Anybody having any suggestions for me? 
Should I send the output of some debug settings?

if you really want to see the pictures above - use some font
with constant spacing like courier! :-)
