That's the only version iscan ever had.

There was a mail by Reinald Kirchner in this thread that mentioned a
firmware file dated December 2004, so it seems that there are at least
three versions of it in the wild.  I would suggest using 1.16 or later
and see if that helps.

If that doesn't fix things, I would check that things works on a Mac
or Windows machine with the official driver to rule out any hardware
problems (if not done already, sorry don't remember the whole thread).

I can't seem to find any reference to the hardware Ken is using, but
if not ix86 could this be endian related?  From the sample attached to
the bug report it doesn't look that way though.
