no, it only affects fc1

Do you have ECP activated in your BIOS? If you have ECP something like 
this should show up in your dmesg:

$ dmesg | grep parport
parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x778), irq 7, dma 1
                                        [PCSPP,TRISTATE,COMPAT,ECP,DMA]
