While the X 1195 is not listed at all, itshould be detected as it has
the same ids as the other x1100 scanners.

This doesn't work anyway. Either use -L or -d.

Just try scanning with scanimage.

Put "lexmark" in dll.conf.

I don't know why it freezes, but a logfile could help to analyze the
problem:

export SANE_DEBUG_LEXMARK=255
xsane 2>log

Try to run a scan or preview. If it does not work, send the log
(compressed!).
