I did download the experimental genesys-new cvs code and modify 
genesys.conf && genesys_devices.c to fake this scanner with 
canon_lide_50_model

But I am getting an error here:

[genesys] genesys_white_shading_calibration (lines = 20)

I do not know what to do now.
