[sane-devel] symbol lookup error

Hi , 
is anyone ever got this error message before ? 
when I type "xsane"
# xsane : symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/sane/libsane-sm3880.so.1.:  undefined symbol: _Z14sanei_usb_initv

when I type "scanimage -L"
#scanimage: sysmbol symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/sane/libsane-sm3880.so.1.:  undefined symbol: _Z14sanei_usb_initv

is anyone know how to fix this problem?
