[sane-devel] xsane errors

I get the following errors from xsane:

Scanimage -L

xsaneimage works. iscan works.

I have reinstalled both sane backends and xsane. xsane was working using 
the same setup until last night.

I am using Mandriva 2006, sane-backends 1.0.17-2.1.20060mdk and xsane 
0.97-2mdk. Epson 3490.
