Grateful for assistance. I realise this may not be the appropriate forum.

I'm purchasing a new desktop to run only Linux.
# AMD Athlon™ 64 3200+ (2.0Ghz, 512k L2 Cache, Socket AM2) is the machine 
in question.
I also am keen to purchase an Epson scanner to scan mainly colour 
transparencies, but also A4 documents etc.
V350 is within my price range.
Will it work with full resolution on Ubuntu Feisty, with the relevant 
Epson driver?
