It also has an ethernet interface.  Over that, it should be able so send scanned image in an e-mail -- but numeric host in e-mail destinatoin is interpreted as phone number (and the call fails).  Presumably you'd have to use a nice host name, set up a little fake DNS server on a computer, and route any DNS requests from the scanner to that computer.'
