[sane-devel] 3 mins delay at xscanimage startup due to querying hpiod

Hi Volker,

SANE does not know which scanner you have or don't have until it tries all 
the possibilities.  You can limit which backends it will try by editing 
dll.conf (which on my system can be found in /etc/sane.d) and commenting 
out suspicious looking entries.
