What I forgot to tell, printing works fine (same device: it's a
printer/scanner/copier combi) and as said, when running saned in debug
mode (saned -d) it also works fine! Just that it quits after the first
connection of course. But the scanner is detected correctly both
locally and over the network. So I'm pretty sure the port permissions
are OK. I suspect the combination with inetd that is the problem.
