[sane-devel] HP ScanJet 6300C head moving back/forth during scan >200dpi

I think you may be right that the scanner is USB-1.1 , I have
unfortunately only tested with scsi under windows and I dont have access
to a Windows machine currently.

What I could find out on google it seems to be usb-1.1 but im not 100%
sure.

I tried setting the scanning speed to low in xsane but the speed is the
same as with normal speed still when scanning, i would think that this could fix the going
back and forth of the scanning head because of the scanners potential
usb-1.1 bottleneck ?
