I'm going to test recode the left ghost image assuming YCbCr and YUV inclusive.
YCbCr to RGB
R = Y + 1.403*(Cr - 0.5)
G = Y - 0.344*(Cr - 0.5) - 0.714*(Cb - 0.5)
B = Y + 1.773*(Cb - 0.5)
YUV to RGB
R = Y + 1.140V
G = Y - 0.395U - 0.581V
B = Y + 2.032U
Just to see what will happen.
