Well, I build sane-backends from
http://www.sane-project.org/snapshots/sane-backends-2008-12-23.tar.gz but I
have the same issue.
I upload the output of
SANE_DEBUG_FUJITSU=30 scanadf --source 'ADF Front' --page-width 210
--page-height 297 -t 0 -l 0 -x 210 -y 297 --resolution 300 --mode Lineart
--buffermode off 2>fi-5070c.log
in http://www.ofm.com.br/fi-5070c.tar.gz
Maybe it can help in something.
