[sane-devel] Xsane & the Epson V200

Hello

    My friend has a Ubuntu 7.10 system on an older machine, which seems
to work fine.

    I installed the drivers as suggested at

and all is not well.

    It works fine at 300 dpi but 1200 dpi & 4800 dpi produce a box with
the message

"Out of memory". It seem unlikely the  system is out of memory it has 1
GB. So what does this
message mean | what is running out of memory?
