[sane-devel] Canon CanoScan LiDE 100

Does anyone have experience with this scanner? I originally purchased
a LiDE 25 (because it is supported by the plustek backend) but it was
DOA, and Canon replaced it with the LiDE 100, which seems to be a new
model. I can not find reference to it in the supported hardware list,
one way or the other. Running sane-find-scanner reports:

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x1904 [CanoScan],
chip=GL843) at libusb:004:005

I have also attached the lsusb results below. Based on some reading it
appears the GL843 chip might be supported by the genesys backend, but
genesys does not seem to recognize my scanner when I run scanimage -L.

Can anyone offer any assistance? Thank you in advance.
