Before installing sane-2009-02-19, I ran '# removepkg 
sane-1.0.19-i486-2', but directories /etc/sane.d and /usr/share/sane 
remained. Now I deleted them manually. Scanimage works as before (from 
/usr/local/etc/sane.d), xsane works from any dir.
(sane-2009-02-19 was installed with prefix /usr/local)


So, the scanner is recognized as MF4010. It works in all resolutions 
(75, 150, 300, 600), both in color and gray mode and it supports 
button-controlled mode.

Please add it to the "Supported Scanners" list.
