[sane-devel] Sane Error

The backend doesn't work directly either. I am able to see it communicate with the scanner, it goes into a busy state and then gets the I/O error immediately after.
I am going to try to compile 1.0.19 in cygwin and see if that has any different results.
The test interface does work.
