[sane-devel] Genesys sheetfed scanner update

Hi Kelly,
I have added your scanner to my database of small single-page sheetfed scanners at http://sites.google.com/site/roadwarriorscanner/. It sounds like your scanner is similar to the Plustek OpticSlim M12 and the hack described in your link tricks sane into accepting your scanner.

I don't think the gt68xx backend is actively maintained, but maybe someone with commit priveleges can add your scanner to the cvs.

Your scan quality problem is probably due to the lack of calibration support for the OpticSlimM12. The supported scanner section of the sane website also mentions that there is a limited selection of scan areas.

Also, I do have an OpticSlimM12 that I will give away for free to a developer who promises to add calibration and better support.
