[sane-devel] /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsane collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Hi,

I am unable to compile my code after porting to Fedora 10.0, everytime I get the error


/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsane
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Even though libsane.so, & libsane.so.1 are present in /usr/lib and usr/bin.

when I execute which Scanimage I get the path /usr/bin/scanimage.
