It might be a good idea to update the scanners page here:

It currently says:

   ScanJet 7450c	USB	0x03f0/0x0801	Good
   1 pass, 2400 dpi - dual USB/SCSI interface - regularly tested

But that is not the case at the moment.

I will try 1.0.18 and report back.
