[sane-devel] HP4470c - OSX - USB intermittently working

I've seen similar behaviors with HP & Epson scanners on OSX. Problem (in my case) was that factory scanner software launches daemons on USB hotplug that grab device (scanner).

My way of dealing with it (and use SANE) - kill HP (or Epson) daemons and anything twain ... and use SANE afterward.
