[sane-devel] Options with multiple values

gscan2pdf brought support of all options that a sane backend offers, except  
those with multiple values. Now I am looking at adding support for options  
with multiple values.

I assume they are mostly used for gamma correction tables. Are there any  
other uses? It seems to be possible to have multiple string values, too. Is  
this used?
