Nope, but just before sending that ESC @ command there's this at the end
of what appears to be the first of 104 blocks of image data:
[epson2] buf[129744] 12 .
[epson2] e2_ext_read: read 129745 bytes
[epson2] e2_ext_read: cancel request received
[epson2] e2_scan_finish
For some reason the device is saying that it received a cancel request
(did someone push a cancel button on the device?). Protocol-wise, the
backend is supposed to send a CAN in that case before anything else.
Now I don't understand why one sees a cancel request here. Another
thing I don't understand is the meaning of the 0x02 bit of that 0x12
error code. The 0x10 is the cancel request bit.
BTW, the Perfection 1650 is a B8 scanner so it is not affected by the
ESC m changes you committed for D level devices the other day.
Also, the original bug reporter (CC:d) may want to give the latest
version (2.26.1) of Image Scan! for Linux a try. The udev/initramfs
problems should be fixed by now.
Hope this helps,
