I did a
git reset HEAD --hard
to get rid of my local changes from the experiment yesterday and
rd at dell:~/SW.nobackup/sane-backends$ git apply ~/p610.patch
/home/rd/p610.patch:82: trailing whitespace.
/home/rd/p610.patch:149: trailing whitespace.
else if ((s->hw->cmd->level[0] == 'B') && (s->hw->level == 4) /*
B4 !color */
warning: 2 lines add whitespace errors.
rd at dell:~/SW.nobackup/sane-backends$
I am not a git expert, is the warning bad?
After building and installing, I run
rd at dell:~/SW.nobackup/sane-backends$ SANE_DEBUG_EPSON2=11
scanimage -d 'epson2:libusb:001:003' --mode='Color' -y 297 -l
0 --resolution='150' -x 210 -t 0 -v > test150.pnm 2> test150-patch.dbg
rd at dell:~/SW.nobackup/sane-backends$
Imagemagick thinks the pnm is still broken:
rd at dell:~/SW.nobackup/sane-backends$ convert test150.pnm test150.png
convert: unable to read image data `test150.pnm'.
convert: missing an image filename `test150.png'.
rd at dell:~/SW.nobackup/sane-backends$
Debug output uploaded to
http://bokomoko.de/~rd/test150-patch.dbg
Many thanks,
Rainer
