[sane-devel] Keeping documentation up to date for gt68xx-backend?

Hi,
the author of http://www.meier-geinitz.de/sane/gt68xx-backend/ writes 
that he is not involved in the project anymore and doesn't want to be 
contacted for sane-related issues. I have found his homepage helpful but 
partly outdated. How do you handle cases like that? Would it not make 
sense to put the page somewhere where the community can maintain it, 
provided Meier-Geinitz agrees to use his content?
