[sane-devel] Testing on Canon MF6580PL

Hello,
I see you're looking for a tester for Canon MF6580PL.
We got that multifunction model at the office, and we could really use Mac compatibility. :)
I tried basic communication:

sane-find-scanner
reads:
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon,Inc.], product=0x2686 [MF6500]) at libusb:005:002-04a9-2686-00-00

while

scanimage -L
got:
device `pixma:04A92686_1569EE8o0016' is a CANON Canon imageClass MF6500 multi-function peripheral

What now?
