Hi,
Commit ea76aef8a23e3500dd43cb577dc617cb7dce2d0a added
#define SANE_DEBUG_LOG_RAW_DATA 1
in genesys.c; it looks like this was an oversight when committing the
changes.
With this activated, genesys leaves a raw.pnm file behind in the current
working directory. It's messy in a production, but more importantly, it
leaves potentially sensitive user data in this file behind the user's
back.
Can you disable it again in git? I haven't done it myself to avoid a
conflict at your next pull/push.
For everyone maintaining SANE in a distro or similar environment, check
your builds and disable the raw debug in genesys if your users are using
this backend.
JB.
