[sane-devel] problem with canoscan 5600F

Hello, everybody!

It's been some rough times, but I am now back, so reopening this thread.

I have taken the last git repositories, compiled sane-backends and
tried the scanner. Using sane-find-scanner, the scanner popped up, but
nothing else worked. I tried xscanimage, I tried the xsane in the
Ubuntu repositories (it should use the sane-backends I have compiled,
right?), but it won't find the scanner.

Please let me know what I need to do to get a scan.
