[sane-devel] Information from about Plustek Optic Slim 2400+

I've seen following message in console, and according to it post information 
that this scanner (Plustek Optic Slim 2400+) works. One disadvantage I see 
it's missing option of 2400 dpi scan in xsane (I assume it should work, from 
name of scanner).

I have installed it about one year ago, in order to make it working I copied 
firmware from Windows installation into Sane directory (what I has found on 
some forum, if I remeber well).

[gt68xx] WARNING: You have manually added the ids of your scanner 
[gt68xx]          to gt68xx.conf. Please use an appropriate override 
[gt68xx]          for your scanner. Use extreme care and switch off 
[gt68xx]          the scanner immediately if you hear unusual noise. 
[gt68xx]          Please report any success to 
[gt68xx]          sane-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org. Please provide as many
[gt68xx]          details as possible, e.g. the exact name of your
[gt68xx]          scanner, ids, settings etc.
