[sane-devel] Detected scanner, proper driver, won't scan

Perhaps it works with the alternative drivers "epson" from SANE
or with "epkowa" driver from Avasys in our "iscan-free" package?

If not, you may have a look at
in particular "Trouble-Shooting (Debugging)".
