[sane-devel] Scanner added to /lib/udev/rules.d/40-libsane.rules and then working

Hi

I read a help on the Ubuntu forums about a scanner and root access:

The solution was to add the rules to the libsane.rules file and the article
stated that I should notify this email group.

this is the line I added
# EPSON NX220
ATTRS{idVendor}=="04b8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0865",
ENV{libsane_matched}="yes"


I hope this helps; it does require the Epson vendor drivers.
