[sane-devel] Fwd: Re: scanning only 75 dpi

Hello again

1.)    I tried to "downgrade" xsane .998 to xsane .997 on ubuntu 11.04 
by using the *.deb files from

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xsane/0.997-2ubuntu3/+build/1930553

(I deleted xsane .998 and "common"-file and installed instead the 
.997-Versions by software-manager.)

2.)   I used "*skanlite*" instead of xsane .*997* with the result: same 
problems as with xsane .*998*
3.)   I created scan.logs with 75 dpi and 300 dpi: both are working, 
pictures ok, but in 300 dpi running "interlaced" scans.
4.)   I tried simplescan, which is working on ~ 300 dpi interlaced, 
picture ok.

The result for today: *No difference* between *xsane .998* and *xsane 
.997* and *skanlite* on ubuntu *11.04* both *not* working korrectly on 
*150 dpi*.

???? Maybe it's a problem with (ubuntu 11.04-) Memory-Management ????

Last morning I nubered the lines in both scan.logs and found some
differences.



vgl-u10.10-u11.04

schows my first review of differences, about which I
cant make up my mind.

u10.10 means ubuntu 10.10 with xsane .997
u11.04 means ubuntu 11.04 with xsane .998
