Hi,

I am trying to get sane-backends-1.0.23 compiling under Cygwin on a windows 7 PC and when I run ./configure I get this message:

checking winsock2.h usability... no
checking winsock2.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: winsock2.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: winsock2.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: winsock2.h: see the Autoconf documentation
configure: WARNING: winsock2.h: section "Present But Cannot Be Compiled"
configure: WARNING: winsock2.h: proceeding with the compiler's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------------------- ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to sane-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------------------- ##
checking for winsock2.h... no

Is this something I can fix? Am I missing a dependency or something.

Kind Regards,
Kev
