[sane-devel] Can do program to schedule scanners?

Hi SANE developers,
I am a researcher in biology. I want to use my flatbed scanner to do a time
lapse with my petri dish where bacteria grow.
I wonder if there is any existing frontend of SANE or software that can
control my scanner to do it?
