[sane-devel] Canonscan N 650U LIDE Scanner does not scan but makes terrible noise AGAIN !

with the ubuntu 14.04 release again I have to suffer the terrible noise 
of my Canonscan N 650U LIDE Scanner.

I downloaded sane-backends-1.0.24.tar.gz
