[sane-devel] About add new backend

Hello Mr all:
  I want to add a new backend, but failed.  Could you please give me some advice, Thank you.


  step 1>Download the git-version environment "sane-backends-git20141103.tar.gz",
    from:  http://www.sane-project.org/snapshots/
  step 2> ‍Add the backend name to ALL_BACKENDS in configure.in
  step 3> ‍Add the source code files to the backend/ directories.
  step 4> ‍Run autoreconf.
              ↑ Errors Occured
Error information:
  Possibly undefined macro: AC_DEFINE
  If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.

I am not sure if the problem is the git-environment,
