My name is André. I've bought a HP ScanJet 300 after hearing information
that the HP ScanJet series would be Linux-supported.

It now seems, it doesn't. Is there any information about work in
progress when it comes to support to said Scanjet? If not, what are the
chances it will be supported in the near future?
