Hi,
I recently acquired a HP ScanJet N6310 (for cheap, yea!) and I've been
trying to get it to work with my Arch Linux desktop.

I haven't made much progress. Here's what I've done:

% scanimage -L
> device `genesys:libusb:002:009' is a Hewlett Packard ScanJet N6310 flatbed
> scanner
>

> % scanimage -T
> [genesys] WARNING: Your scanner is not fully supported or at least
> [genesys] had only limited testing. Please be careful and

> [genesys] sane-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org. Please provide as

> [genesys] details as possible, e.g. the exact name of your
> [genesys] scanner and what does (not) work.
> scanimage: open of device genesys:libusb:002:009 failed: Invalid argument

Running scanimage verbosely doesn't seem to effect this output.

Just to be safe I've commented out all the backends besides genesys in
/etc/sane.d/dll.conf and I've checked to make sure that the HP ScanJet
N6310 entry in /etc/sane.d/genesys.conf is not commented out and matches
the output of lsusb. But no change in behavior so far.

Let me know what to try out. Thanks!

Thanks!
