[sane-devel] genesys : "Error during device I/O"

on a Canon LIDE 110 under stretch + last genesys (built from git) with :

env SANE_DEBUG_DLL=255 scanimage -d genesys --resolution 100 --mode 
Color >scan100dpi.pnm
or :
  env SANE_DEBUG_DLL=255 scanimage -d genesys  >scan100dpi.pnm

This could be a "true" hardware problem but the scanner has worked under 
Windows...
