[sane-devel] Epson V600 Photo - error message

Thank you for your good will here with language problems in addition to
program imponderables.
What leaves me perplexed: with the epkowa (free) 3 drivers, the V600
photo scanner works perfectly under the VueScan (not-free) software, BUT
under Linux-mint, the XSANE Scan program fails. Why?
