[sane-devel] There are no SANE sources installed

Hi All,

I am trying to get PDF Studio

https://www.qoppa.com/pdfstudio/

which has an unlimited trial

to read saned through systemd

When I click read from scanner, PDF Studio tells me

     There are no SANE sources installed

saned.socket is running:

# systemctl status saned.socket
● saned.socket - saned incoming socket
    Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/saned.socket; enabled; vendor 
preset: disabled)

How do I troubleshoot this?
