[sane-devel] /etc/sane.d/saned.conf vs /etc/saned.conf?

I don't have /etc/saned.conf on my system. Are they symlinked together or 
are they from different sane installations?

saned allows you to expose your scanner to other sane installations running 
on other machines on the network.
If you only want to use your scanner with your local machine then you don't 
need it.
