Dear all.
I am Kubuntu advanced user.
Previously under Kubuntu 17.04, I used without any problem a
multi-function device, SAMSUNG SCX 4300 for printing and scanning, via
an USB interface. Printing and scanning work fine.
Therefore, when upgrading to KUBUNTU 17.10 (Artful), then to KUBUNTU
18.04 (Bionic) and now under 18.10 (Cosmic), the printing function is
working properly but not the scanning function.
I tried many things to fix the issue based on discussions on the mailing
list but without success.
For that reason, I keep the unsupported Zesty version only for scanning.
So, I contact the mailing list for some support to fix that issue.
I provide below some information about my config.
Thank you for your ideas.
Cheers.Xavier
