[sane-devel] Canon TS3130 & ubuntu 18.04

Good day specialists,

I wonder if you can help me or know where I can get help concerning this problem with a printer/scanner.
The Scanner on the Canon TS3130  works beautifully now with the program
"simple scan" after the installation of the new PPA..

Thank you so much to have written this little program !!

  Only hic-up  : the printer still doesn't work.
Message: "/unable to locate printer/" ...

But there must be a repair solution to this !!

I have downloaded and installed the drivers again from the Canon site .
CanonTS3100 serie

restarted the ubuntu 18.04 lts on the PC, but still no contact with USB.
Been on Google and searched for solutions - but still in vain.

  "/Printing stopped/" is the message when I use the wi-fi connection.
But at least they have contact with each other.
tried USB connection but then message :/unable to locate printer/.
However, sane scanner works perfect with USB connection..

Any suggestion fro your side ??
