Hi,

Technically, this is not breakage. You just fix the messages and translators
should re-generate the template, merge their translations, and review them
accordingly.

Thus there is a rule-of-thumb for the developers (or code reviewers) not to
fix what should be fixed by translators. This rule is violated by some
developers from time to time to fix insignificant typos but this usually leads
to the claims by unsatisfied translators (you can easily find discussions on
such incidents in FOSS translator mailing lists, e.g. [1]).

So if you feel lucky just use something like this

https://wiki.mageia.org/en/
Fixing_strings_in_code_without_breaking_translations

to fix all catalog at once.

Hope this helps.
